Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Estia is designed so everyone — including people with disabilities — can read the menu and order independently. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 (level AA), the European standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

What the guest menu includes

  • Read-aloud of dishes in 30 languages, with the correct voice per language.
  • Larger text and a high-contrast mode.
  • Full keyboard navigation and proper ARIA labels (tabs, dialogs, buttons).
  • Alternative text on dish images.
  • Respect for the system “reduced motion” setting (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Allergens (EU 1169) and dietary tags shown legibly and labelled.

Conformance status

The public guest menu is considered largely conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Some content uploaded by each business (e.g. photos or text) may not fully meet the criteria; we provide tools (alt text, contrast, read-aloud) to bridge the gap.
